In a move that’s as bold as it is on brand, Kanye West is shaking things up once more. Just four years after legally changing his name to Ye, the artist and entrepreneur has reportedly updated it again this time to Ye Ye.
According to Page Six, new business documents filed in California reveal the name change, submitted by West’s chief financial officer, Hussain Lalani. The revised name now appears across multiple entities tied to West, including Yeezy Apparel, Yeezy Record Label LLC, and Getting Out Our Dreams Inc. In these filings, “Ye Ye” is officially listed under the “manager or member name.”
Interestingly, West had previously used “Ye West” in earlier documentation, showing a progression in how he presents himself legally and professionally.
As always, the change has sparked curiosity is this a branding pivot, a personal statement, or just another Ye move in his ever evolving public identity?
